Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) – Multipurpose Facility 
Location: Western NSW
Contract Type: Fixed-Term (3–6 Months) OR Permanent

Are you a passionate and experienced Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) looking to take the next step in your career? This is a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a Multipurpose Facility in Western NSW, supporting aged care and acute services in a rural community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage nursing staff across aged care, sub-acute, and emergency/acute care

• Ensure high standards of clinical care and service delivery

• Oversee rostering, team development, and daily coordination of nursing activities

• Maintain compliance with health standards, policies, and reporting requirements

• Foster a positive and supportive team culture

• Liaise with families, clinicians, and health stakeholders to ensure continuity of care

Requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

• Demonstrated leadership in a similar NUM or senior RN role

• Experience in aged care, acute, or rural multipurpose settings

• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to live and work in a rural/remote setting
