Casual and Contract Opportunities – November + December 2025 to 2026

Are you an experienced Clinical Facilitator with a passion for mentoring and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals? Prospero Health & Social Care is partnering with several leading hospitals throughout Sydney’s southern coastal region to deliver high-quality student placement programs across November, December, and into 2026.

We are seeking qualified Clinical Facilitators who are either based in Sydney or able to commute easily to the southern coast (including St George, Sutherland, Wollongong, and Shoalhaven regions).

About the Role

As a Clinical Facilitator, you will:
 
  • Supervise and assess nursing students in acute, sub-acute, and community settings.
  • Support clinical teaching and promote safe, evidence-based practice.
  • Liaise with hospital educators and university placement coordinators.
  • Provide timely feedback, guidance, and documentation aligned with clinical objectives.

Essential Requirements

To be eligible, you must have:
 
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Minimum of three years’ post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Nursing or Clinical Education (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable).
  • Evidence of Clinical Facilitator clearance via ClinConnect (NSW Health’s student placement verification system).
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
  • National Police Check (current within 12 months).
  • Australian working rights (citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa holder).
  • Up-to-date immunisation compliance in line with NSW Health policy (Category A roles).

Desirable
 
  • Experience supporting undergraduate nursing students.
  • Confidence managing small clinical groups.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to multiple facilities within the southern Sydney region.
